"'97 Aces Go Places (Jui gaai paak dong: Jui gai paak dong)" Ho Sik's (Alan Tam) Costume
Description
Costume acquired by the production for use in the Hong Kong film "â97 Aces Go Places (Jui gaai paak dong: Jui gai paak dong)" (1997) for Alan Tam's character "Ho Sik." This is a four-piece lot consisting of a coat, a shirt, a pair of pants and a hat.
Coat: Long white coat with thin black threading accentuating the hems. Garment opens at the front via six buttons, with an additional button on the interior proper left obverse. Two pockets the obverse center to the right and left of the opening. Reverse bottom has a split tail.
Shirt: Black ribbed cotton long sleeve shirt. Shirt has two vertical Velcro strips at each should, and a Velcro square at the proper right collar. Top of proper right shoulder can be opened and is held closed by the Velcro straps. Tag at interior reverse reads âZantos.â
Pants: Tan khaki pants that open at the top obverse with two buttons and a zipper. Belt loops present. Polycotton blend. DNA Individual brand. Pant legs are folded up on the exterior and hemmed. Two side pockets, and two back pockets. Back pockets have flaps and buttons. âDNAâ tag on the reverse center near the belt loop.
Hat: White nylon bucket hat. Two metal vents on the right and two metal vents on the left. Polyester lining. Washing and care instructions tag is at the reverse interior and the hat band. Made in Japan.

Coat: Garment is wrinkled, and yellowed from age.
Shirt: Loose thread at obverse center near neckline.
Pants: Very minor brown staining throughout. Darker brown staining at the bottom hem of the obverse proper right leg.
Hat: Hat is wrinkled, and yellowed from age.
