Unknown Treasure - WWII French Military Uniform

Description

WWII French military uniform from an unknown production circa 1990s. This is a four-piece ensemble consisting of a jacket, a shirt, a pair of pants, and a necktie.

Jacket: Green wool military jacket with patches on both sleeves. Patch on shoulder of proper right and proper left arms read “FRANCE.” Two patches below this on proper left arm. Tag sewn into interior has text that reads “PTE BROOKS S. C. / W14336661.”  Another tag sewn into interior has text that reads “SERVANE.” “S BROOKES” written in blue ink on interior of waistband.

Shirt: Green cotton dress shirt. Size 12 1/2.

Pants: Green wool military pants. Pocket at proper right hip. Four-button closure at proper left hip. Cuffs are folded. Tag sewn into interior has “SERVANE” written on it.

Necktie: Green knit necktie with frayed ends.

Obtained from Angels the Costumiers.

Jacket: Small holes in sleeves.

Shirt: Pinholes throughout waist.

Pants: Small hole at proper left knee.

Necktie: Light fading throughout. Small pinholes near end.
