Black velvet smoking jacket from an unknown production. Black velvet smoking jacket with green, silk, quilted, shawl lapel. Jacket has single obverse button closure along with, a proper left breast pocket, two side pockets, and faux button closures at cuffs of sleeves. Decorative fabric details at side pockets matches the lapel. There is a Morris Angel & Son Ltd. label sewn into the obverse proper right of jacket with handwritten text that reads “1 / J. Brett.”

Minor remnants of lint/debris attached throughout jacket. Pinholes under proper left sleeve. Spot on reverse at center where velvet is crushed. Minor pinholes throughout.
